just wanted to share my favrite find in my tank. a HUGE peanut worm, streching well over one foot without even trying. fun to watch, kind of gross. i nearly killed over when i first saw it. i dont know if anyone else will find this as interesting as me, but thought id share anyhow. i took it out when i first saw it because, well, im not sure why haha. he is back now though and i see him everynight.
some photos for viewing pleasure.

he came out from under the anemone (making the clown more than unhappy)

They are very neat critters. I too have a large one that lives in my refugium, although I rarely see it except when it goes through the sandbed and comes against the glass. Thanks for sharing.

yeah. amazing-they kind of creep me out.

I love you're anemone. What kind is it?
I envy you're clown too, its a maroon right?

the anemone is a green bubble tip (i think, im still new and he came on some live rock haha) and the clown is a gold stripe maroon. the anemone split the day we got it and now we have two that are twice the size of the one in the pic (those things grow fast!)
on the first pics it came out to eat after we turned off the lights. the second set we had taken it out because i wasnt sure if i should keep it in there and didnt want to risk never seeing it again (noob mistake, but he is back now and thriving). cant say i like the worm too much, kind of grosses me out, but i havent seen him since so all is well :)

yeah they usually dont remove their whole body from the hole, they usually just halfway come out and look for food and suck back in the hole when there is danger

That's so cool, i had a few in my 90 gallon, but now that i dried out my lr for my new setup i don't have any, i hope to get some on a coral or something when i buy them for the tank.
