Giant sea creatures found in Antarctic search

did anyone see the pic of the sea pig they found on the same expidition? it's a cuke, but it sure looks like a wet little pig. they had it on msn.com. i thought i found cool s@#$ in my tank!!!

we spend millions to go to space and find nothing. while there is still unexplored territory on our own planet

they are big. So? New species are neat and all, but its not very surprising. New species are found quite often, and the news gets all excited because its big

Why do you have to say things like that? I think knowing whats around is practical in any way. Think of it this way: One of those big starfish will never destroy the earth, but those trillions of rocks floating around in space are damn scary! And besides, the possibility of aliens is way cooler than big starfish.

I think we should invest in both space and ocean exploration. That way we can defend ourselves from big rocks AND know whats on our planet ;)

Don't get me wrong i'm all for space exploration. :strooper:

i understand thats only a big starfish but there are other creatures in the ocean that we could possibly learn from and its not as highly publicized. i've only been into reefkeeping a few months and am already amazed of things i never new existed its as if i've already seen aliens
