Gift Certificate Problems anyone?

I suggested my mom get me a Marine Depot gift card for my birthday. I had numerous troubles receiving the code (never did get it from MD - they finally sent the code to my mom who forwarded it to me). This despite the fact that I receive email from MD all the time, in fact received one about 30 seconds after placing the actual order.

Now I'm stuck in some alleged "problem with CC#" - I probably fat fingered it, or the exp date, or the sec code (unless this is more confusion over the gift card code which wouldn't surprise me). But I logged in to the site to try to fix it but there are no links anywhere to 'change CC #" or anything.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had problems with gift certificates from MD - I was going to ask my inlaws for one but I'm starting to think this was WAY more hassle than it was worth.

Thanks for your post, I apologize for the confusion and the trouble you are having with our Gift Card System. The problem you may be experiencing with your Credit Card is usually caused by either a Credit Card number, expiration date, or CVC code being submitted incorrectly. It is not directly related with our Gift Card system.

Unfortunately there is currently no method available online to edit your Credit Card information at this time, we do ask that you contact our Customer Services Center, so we may resubmit your Credit Card information.

I'll forward this message to my accounting team so they may further look into it, I am not aware of any problems with our Gift Card system at this time.

If you can Private Message me an order number or an email address from the sender or recipient, we'll be able to further look into it in detail.

Again I do apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

The gift code arrived today which was odd (but at least it came I guess!). It was ordered on the 29th and there was a holiday in there I guess.

I called today and I believe the CC# issue is resolved, and allegedly/hopefully my new skimmer is shipping tomorrow.
