Speckled or just bleaching tan

The tip of the tentacles are often different color. In this case lighter color the the tan/brown color of the rest of the anemone. I would not say white tipped but light beige, or light tan color.

It s hard to tell from one picture. If this a picture at his best then he is sick and need treatment. Without treatment he is doomed. I can’t immage a seller would put picture of the anemone not at their best for customer to see so he does need treatment. If shipping involved I would not get him because he would get much much worst with shipping. If this is a LFS I may get him and start treatment right away.

Well, I had already ordered it and another one that I think may be a haddoni, the prices were pretty fair so I jumped on it. Not sure if pic is at its best or not. A friend use to own a LFS and he was making a large coral purchase from a vendor he has dealt with and I told him to check on nems available. He checked and said she had some so I requested a pic. It took a while but she then sent this pic to him. I assume it was a spontaneous situation and it took a while for her to take a pic but I guess she could taken one previously and had it on file. I'll know shortly, I guess. I went ahead and set up the QT. I've promised myself I would never attempt to treat again and here we are, lol. Apparently I will continue this until I get a healthy gig in the tank.

Definitely take photos when it arrives and share them with us. I believe that all sick gigs are worth treating, unless they are DOA. Unfortunately, some or too far gone when we receive them, but we only know that after they don't show a response to treatment.

.....And then directly out of the tank and into treatment. I knew it was too good to be true but it showed up looking amazing so I got played.

This happens a lot. They look fine in the bag so into the DT they go. And then within a few days they start looking bad again and then they go into QT. I usually just put them right into QT with Cipro regardless of how they look (granted, I have done it in a while).

We'll see how it goes. Apparently I will not learn my lesson but I gotta get a gig in the tank at some point.

These two pics were this morning after about 10-12 hrs in treatment. Has anyone had one to bounce back in similar condition?

Continue with treatment. The mouth in that second picture is kind of large. I would take picture when he is at his worst and best every day so you have something other than your memory to go on when you are trying to decide if he is getting better or worst.
Good luck.
