I did not see it in the powerhead, just tried to make a guess as to what happened. You could be 100% right... the anemone did not pull through and rapidly got worse. I cannot figure out what exactly went wrong. the side that appeared to have all the damage was on the side the power heads were on but there was a divider in between the power heads and the nem.
My original intention was to post the "journal" of my treatment success/failure. I will post the pictures in this thread; maybe slightly more experienced keepers can sleuth something i missed.
My setup was a 20g h qt/hospital tank with 10g of water. I was changing 70% of the water with aged 24 hour temp/salinity matched water (everyday the nem was in the tank). Following the water change i was dosing 250mg cipro (once dosing was deemed necessary). Light was provided by natural sunlight and a 4 bulb t5h0 fixture. Flow was provided using 3 korelia 425 gph powerheads (2 were on an alternating wavemaker and once was constantly on). The nem was treated with cipro for 4 days, and was in the qt/hospital tank for 7 days total.
