Gigantea won't attach.

what is the best placement for this anemone? it been 24 hours and it wont attach to anything. i'm just leaving it alone right now and hope it attaches.

let me know what i should do thanks.

They typically like to attach their base to a piece of live rock somewhere in the tank with a decent amount of flow. How did you acclimate it to your tank? What kind of lights do you have? Is the mouth open or closed?

drip acclimated, mouth is tight. tenticles fully inflated and in good water flow.

2x250 watts metal haide reeflux bulbs.

You can put him in a strawberry basket with some rock in it higher up in the tank (like attach to the top side of the tank.) Once attach you can put him in high flow, high light place in the tank.

How did you H. magnifica doing?

mags doing great. everything is so far doing better then i would expect..


just got a great deal on this neon green gigantea i could pass up. thought i gave it a try. i'll post pics *** soon as it gets settle in.
