Gigas

Ok so I wanna get a Gigas Clam, my question is what colors do they come in? I have seen many Gigas, but they have only been a brown or pale yellow...

Gigas are not the most colorfull(even if they are beautiful IMO), they normally are brown or pale yellow as you say but with little touch of turquoise, blue or green (normally around their eyes).

If your loaded (deep pockets) you might be able to buy a more turquoise one but will cost alot.

My gigas's both of them are beautiful clams full of vibrant color, no pale browns or yellows at all !

here's my 7" giga's. I started him in my 75g reef at 1.5" a year ago. He is too big for it now, so be warned they grow fast.

Thanks Adrian, Giga's grows way faster than squamosa. Giga's grow anywhere from 4.2cm to12cm per year and squamosa's are from 4.1cm to 8.2cm per year.
