Gimmito's 450 L-Shaped Display

I've treated all my fish with prazi so far with no issues. I dont normally treat with anything else unless I see symptoms but there are a few exceptions to this rule, most being tangs. Wrasses seem to be pretty pest free for me so far. Did you find some female Mccoskers or are they all male. Either way you should have a nice display once they settle in.

Thanks for the advice Brett. I'm starting a treatment of Prazipro, since it's so gentle and effective on removing flukes, worms, etc. The cardinalfish seem really healthy and the wrasse are eating, but a few look skittish. I separated the wrasses in 2 groups of three and it looks like I have two males who like to flash....very cool display !

Brett,

I've heard to always deworm tangs...is that what you treat for or do you do a malachite green/formaldehyde treatment also ?

Brett,

Have you ever tried chloroquine phosphate for ich, velvet, etc. I hear it's a lot easier to use than copper.

No I've never tried it. I may in the future though. So far I haven't had any issues with cupermine as long as I add it over the course of a few days

Jim the wrasses are simply beautiful!

Also, tangs look really healthy, 16 weeks sound good, are you per medicating the QT system?

Thanks for the vid fix Juan. Yes, I'm medicating the QT with Aqua Pro cure from Fish Vet and will be doing a few Prazipro treatments per Kelly Jedlicki's suggestions.

Aqua Pro-Cure treats Velvet, dinoflagellates (i.e. Oodinium, Brooklynella, & Chilodonella), gill flukes, & bacterial fin rot. Is safe for nitrifying bacteria. The ingredients include Acriflavine, Formalin, & Aminocacridine. I'm really on the fence regarding freshwater dips. I've heard both sides and have had varying sucess and failures in the past. Knowing what medicine to treat for such as Brooklynella for clowns and to deworm tangs for example makes it alot easier. I'll definitely use the Aqua Pro-Cure when I get the Black Ice clowns.

Did you ever pick up that Fish Disease book by Edward Noga ? It's a great book.
