Gimmito's 450 L-Shaped Display

A true inspiration and beautiful tank. Your patience, dedication, perseverance, and attention to detail is absolutely amazing. I just stayed up till 2:30am (having to get up at 7am) just so I could finish this build thread. I'll definitely be subscribing and cannot wait to see the great things to come from this.

Needless to say I'll be PMing you day by day when I set up my 300DD in a few years, hopefully you haven't forgotten me by then!

Again, congratulations on such an awesome set up.

Cheers,
Steve

I tried borrowing a technique from Tony Vargas by attaching a siphon hose to a fork (or a multi tool). A simple, yet effective way to disturb the upper layer of the sanded and siphon detritus while doing water changes.

Johnny (Jestersix) was kind enough to come down and help me create a wicked rockscape for the rear of the tank. I wanted something that would would arch from the rear right to the middle of the tank. Here's some progresive & tank shots.
