Gen dropped off the ATO tanks for the FT and QT. :)

Unwrap them!!!, I want to see those beauties.

(That would have sounded really bad if I was talking to a woman LMAO!!!)

Beautiful, I read they where going into the US soon.
I agree, if you're going to QT fish, fill the rest of the tanks LOL.

As I told you yesterday, I was thinking of inter connecting all QT's and have a common sump under these.

What I don't know is for example, QT 1 gets Ick, you would have to treat all QT's, have you consider this?

Yes, I have considered it. I know there's a rule of thought to treat one animal at a time to avoid that or have a setup be able to treat independently. I like what Kelly Jedlicki advised. A fresh water dip w/methelyne blue and treat for whatever else that particular fish is known to harbor (say brook or ich for clowns) in a seperate bucket.

Thanks Jim, what would be nice is a way to isolate each tank, in your case maybe having an additional HT to treat specifically any fish.

BTW, used Maracyn Two on my fish today, (He is still alive), Lee recommended double dose at first and hope for the best, good thing I got the medicine cabinet on time, it has been very resourceful as of lately.

My LFS has all my complete fish list, I think they will take all of them (Except for the Red Line in case he survives) to the store so they can be sold.

I will reinvent the QT system, Also, I will follow your recommendation, will get the Hydro Sponges, are you using one per isolated space in the QT or in Sump?

Juan,

Great news on the flame, from how you described him it didn't sound good. Also,
I'm glad the LFS is willing to take back the fish. I'm using the large hydro sponge in the sump only. In your case you might be able to plumb it were you can isolate tanks and through in a hydro sponge to treat the individual specimen.

Jim,
Bad news on the fish, he bit the dust as of 10 minutes.

I think I may have found the culprit, the wood board above the QT's is full of fungus and moisture, I bet some of this fell in the water and caused the fungal bacteria to kill the fish.

Do you think it's possible?

Hmmm...it is possible I suppose. I think the fish had some fungus already+ ich and it just manifested itself. I ordered a fish desease book by Edward J. Noga from amazon that Kelly Jedlicki recommended. It suppose to be the reference for fish disease. Another good book is the Fish disease & feeding hNdbook by Goemans & Ichinotsubo. You might wNt to check them out.

Sorry for the loss of the animal again Juan. :(

Wow, all of that is going into the fuge?
Looks great and well packed, can't wait to see them planted in the tank.

The red algae would serve as food for Tangs?
Also, the shoal grass is as the ones found in FL coast?

Your tank is a huge inspiration! congrats Jimmie
