That is a great idea...I was actually going to suggest that for those who cannot make it. The person responsible can even get you your own # to make it easier to keep track of.....proxy bidding....kind of like they do at the big art gallery auctions

There really are not a whole lot of details. I will give you a form to fill out to get all your information and it is $20 per year and we do pro-rate it. When the website comes back up there is more information on there. I will get you that link when its ready.

We are going to start the auction PROMPTLY at 1pm. So it would be a good idea to come a little early so you can take a look at some things and get a bidding # too. Please do not come much before noon though as I may still be setting up .

After the auction we will grill burgers and dogs and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Hello to all. I posted a question about chillers on the main RC forum page on Nano stuff and someone from this club made me aware of this swap. I am all in for coming, maybe even the GF would come too (since it's her tank, tho I maintain it...is there something wrong with this situation?).

Anyway, How do I get to where I need to go? The getting to Coralville (ahhh, the irony) from Ames is no biggie, but as to the location within Coralville, I am cluesless.

I am looking to come to the auction as well. Although, I will have to bring my two little boys. Would this be a problem? (They are 1 & 3) I am very interested in gettinng some new coral, however I do have responsibility of my boys that weekend. I also was talking to another buddy here in D'port and he was thinking of coming, however he is in the same boat as me, although he just has one.
Let me know if this would be a problem. I also what to bring some softie stuff: Milk leather, Finger, and some cabbage. Maybe a few small clumps of polps. And yes I will become a member that day!

I was thinking maybe people who use hydrometers would like to test them against a refractometer to see how accurate they are, and could bring their hydrometers to the BBQ, then if a few people wanted to bring their refractometers and some SW....... might be sorta interesting, if you're a reef nerd, anyways I'll bring my refractometer and some SW if anyone is interested. Something reefy to do besides the auction
