post what you know or what Reefer A wants to let others know. The sharing of knowledge is what makes this hobby thrive. When I got into this some 10 years ago, I would have never thought of keeping acroporas or some other corals. Mushrooms and stars were the rage to a large degree. It was all about Julian Sprung and live rock that actually came from a reef. Bio balls and a Jaubert styled set up. Look at what the sharing of knowledge has done for the hobby, nothing but great things. We all learn because other share something with us, things we didn't know.
So tell Reefer A to go for it. I am quite sure there will be critics, but there will be more here that learn than those that have negativity to spread. Of course even Reefer A can be wrong, there are probably others here that can fill in what's right. That's what happens sometimes. And constructive criticism never hurts. So, as I said, tell him/her to go for it, what could it hurt?
