No updates except to say the COO told me the other day that they are trying to find a spot for it and are very excited about the project. I'll see if I can find some information out next week.

There used to be (2 years ago before I left) a reef tank set up in Medical Center East (New South Tower on the 8th Floor) in the lobby of the Diabetes clinic. It was a non-standard size (very tall with all filtration built into one end) and looked to be about 75 gal.

Do you know if this tank is still set up? It could be a model for how you set up and secure the VCH tank.

Hi, David. I can check, but I was just up on the 8th floor yesterday and everything has pretty much changed around (like places moving to new buildings, and new construction going on).

I truly like this idea. hopefully they can find a good common area to do this. I will help where I can (mainly coral donation).

as for the makeup, I am not really an acrylic fan. I have had my glass tank for 8 years and never had a chip off of it. tempered glass is very hard to chip and would be best to use. also, maybe consider speaking with Glass Cages to help in design and composition.
