Thanks, and to be honest, I never knew how to say Thanksgiving in German. Regarding your signature line, I learned a while back to never leave an aquarium filled with gravel and no water, my cat thought she had a 180 gallon cat box

Funny.... I have three cats that turned my old 110 FOWLR into a litter box when I moved the fish out of it. The bad thing is that I didn't catch it until they made a huge mess. :eek2:

I wonder how many other have had this happen.

This just happened too me also. Put the sand in one nite, came home from work with cat prints everywhere in the tank. Took one whif and new, it was officially a litter box. Couldn't be mad, but had to then rinse the sand as I wasn't going to waste sand at $20 a bag, $32 a bag after shipping. The tank is up and running, everthing looks healthy.

Why wash it, haven't you ever used a raw shrimp to cycle a tank. Cat stuff should work fine, lol.
