Glass Beveling

Anyone know of any glass places locally that do glass beveling? I have called a bunch in the boro and cannot find anyone who does it or even knows of anyone who does in the area. Just seeing if any of you might know of anyone.

Did you call Jack's Glass on Lytle?

That's where I usually get my glass from. I would imagine you probably did, though.

Yep, even asked them about starphire, "star what?" is the answer I got :lol: Gonna get the glass from glass cages, but cannot find anyone to bevel it. It takes a big beveling machine with diamond wheels. Wish I could DIY it

:lol: Yeah, its a very small, basic shop. Great for 1/4" sump baffles, though.

ok, found a co that can bevel the glass, but only what they stock, which is only starphire up to 1/4" and standard float glass in all sizes. So i am contemplating depending on price going with float glass since I need 1/2". Or just getting the Starphire polished and not beveled....

Ocea can do it Rick. Know he's not local just throwing that out there. He's done it twice for me and it looks great.

Building my long awaited new cubeish tank. Gonna be 36x30x22 or 24. Just trying to put all the pieces together now for the tank itself.
