Glass cages vs Marineland

hello all.. I am buying a new aquarium that will be drilled and have overflows come from factory. tank will be a 60x18 so that it will fit my current stand. I have a quote from glass cages and a quote for a marineland from my LFS. both prices are very similar. I would like to hear some opinions on the quality between these two brands. I am not interested in spending over $1000 and both of these came in at under $800. Thanks

GC is a far better made tank (though silicone work can be a bit sloppy so get black).

Never owned a glass cages tank, but I have had a few Marineland tanks including my current 110g that I've had running for about a year. The quality on mine is pretty decent and the black silicone work is fairly clean. IMO, for medium sized tanks, they're pretty good for what you spend. You also get free overflow plumbing on their drilled tanks (Not a big deal, but nice regardless.)
