Well i was going to be getting a 300 gallon bow front but i have now come across this company called glass cages. I would like to know if any of you have heard anything about this company. I was going to get a 10 foot long tank from them b/c i saw one the other day and was like wow thats sweet, i dont know how wide and tall it is but it looked to be about 18 wide and could not say how tall but it wasnt that tall.

I actually have the right dimensions now i just looked on their website, here are the dimensions.

130x24x25 It's actually bigger than 10 foot long.

Im debating on going with them, or just buying a 220 locally here at a fish store. I have desided. I have heard good and bad about them. No bad stories like the tank leaking though.

I bought a sump from them (they delivered it to a local reptile show in Orlando so I didn't have to pay shipping). It wasn't a large tank, mind you, but the price and service was right as far as my experience went.

I have one that I like...

gwrench has had one for 5 years or so and so far so good. kasey i believe is his name from sitc just pick one up at the reptile show from them and they have improved there designes. the old man is hoot to deal with to. very nice and 9 times out of 10 he is the one that calls you back. hope this helps

Thank you all so much, i think i may be getting a 340 gallon then it looks like. What do you all think of the dimensions? To me it seems like it would look a little squashed if you know what i mean, but the thing is i do like how long it is.

Its also a good thing that members of my family now know how to take care of tanks besides me, thats the only reason i will be able to get one now, but now this tank will be considered the Family's, lol.

i guess because its only 24" high ..

wow. lets see 10 foot well thiers 5 mhs. LOL

wonder how much one of those weighs and if it will require a metal stand

ill bet a sohal could gain some speed going across 10 feet..

I have a 300 with ultra white front and a 100 long (acrylic) I use for fuge and sump from GC. I like it. The trim plastic is junk and the silicone was a bit sloppy. These are all known issues from tons of reviews here on RC. "Customer service" will not make an effort to hold your hand or talk to all day. You have to know what you want. With all that said I like my tank and I had a pleasant experience dealing with them.

Here is a link to my review thread detailing pics of the worst aspects of the tank. It is beautiful now though. :)

If I were you I would think twice before buying from them.

I just had a 20x20x12 custom acrylic tank made from glasscrap.com..I mean
glasscages.com

First off their customer service...mainly a woman named Beth was the rudest person
ive ever spoke to! Second the tank came to me not only NOT made to the design specs
I gave them..but it had several deep scratches on the inside of the tank!!! When I called
this extremely RUDE customer service person beth...to explain my problems with the tank and to ask
for a replacement tank to be made..Cause this one was damaged and not made correctly.
She screamed at me and said" We dont want your business!! Go shop somewhere else!!!
They wanted me to pay to have the tank sent back to them...then they would only refund
my money minus the shipping cost!! She ended up hanging up on me when I tried to reason
with her!

Im filing a charge back dispute with Paypal to get my whole amount back...

This company is the worst...I mean the worst!!! tank maker ive ever delt with!!!

nynex, where would you recommend around the south east then? I also contacted glasscages and they told me they do not do tanks with non 90deg angles. This was pretty disappointing as I heard their glass was good.
