Glass Cages

Actually their glass is pretty bad. There are quite a few horror storys on here about
people who had their glasscages tanks start to leak after a year. One guy had his 290
gallon tank burst in his living room. He lost all of corals and livestock...and had
$10,000 damage to his house. Plus Ive hear people say their glass is very green,
if you dont get the starfire. Plus ive seen first hand their shotty silicone job on their
tanks too..

Today I called the owner Tom, to express to him my dissatisfaction with his customer
service..I had told him how rude Beth had acted toward me and he said " Hey!!!
Thats my wife!!!! I dont want your business! " and slam the phone in my ear!

I hear there is a few good tank makers here in orlando..but they are pretty expensive.

What does the size have to do with how did your sand bed is?
If you are going to do a 6" DSB, and want 24 inches of water, you will need a 30 inch tank. If you do a 1" sand bed and want 24 inches of water, you will need a 25 inch tank, etc...

I have heard glass cages makes cheap sumps and tanks. When I was looking for a custom tank, I checked their website out. I was absorbed into them immediately with the cheap prices but after I did some research I realized you get what you pay for. I called them up and they were very impatient when I was giving them what I was looking for. They never returned my emails. Some others may have had good experiences but I did not. They seemed very unpredicatble.
