Glass hole saw sizing help

I picked up a 38mm hole saw for a 3/4" bulkhead. I need to get another one for a 1" bulkhead. I`m not sure if its 42,45 or 48mm size I would need. I believe its a 45mm but does anyone know for sure? I know you can be off a little and still be okay but too big and its trouble...

just measure the outside diameter of the bulkhead then get the holesaw you need

Wish I could....bulkheads are coming with the 38mm saw. I was hoping someone knew the size off the saw.

Ocnreef,
Thanks for the help and thats what I needed. It gave me the correct size in conversion

if they are sending you a 38 mm holesaw then it is probably the size you need.38mm sounds like it could be the right one.

shag26272,
Thanks. I had thought it was a 45mm but wanted to be sure. By Ocnreef`s conversion it came out to be that. Need to get some holes done and have ordered the 45mm also. Wanted to be sure and not get it too big

Thanks guys

Where are you ordering your hole bits from? I need to cut some holes for a couple 1-1/2 bulkheads and some 3/4" bulkheads.

Some 3/4" bulkheads list hole size as 1-1/2" and others list 1-5/8". The difference is between 38mm and 42mm.

For a 3/4" I thought you needed a 42MM. 42mm 1-5/8"
