Did MARS or was it certain people that bought these? I did a search and nothing came up.

I need to take my tank off the stand to sand and stain it. Need 2 pr.

MARS does not own any..
Just a few club members...
You can get them VERY cheap over at Harbor Freight for like 6-7 bucks each...

There's one near Coral Reef Shop @ 5439 AUBURN BLVD

The old one in south Sacramento has move to 5051 FRUITRIDGE RD.

Harbor Freight is a good place to buy CHEAP tools. For example, I purchased two wrenches for my hitch there for dirt cheap. But for tools that I uses often, I usually will buy high end tools.

Here's a 15% off one item coupon valid until the end of today (8/27).

Thanks guys. Yeah i have seen that newer one over by old walmart there but just never went. So the ones there can hold a real heavy tank? Its a 108 gallon but feels like its 200+ gallons:)

I go to the one off 5Star where the old Walmart used to be...
It's much nicer and upscale.

The one over by CRS is in the GHETO.
Lock your car!!! OR go to the one in Roseville :)

I will be heading there later today to get some stuff.

Has anyone used any of these for heavier tanks? My tank is flippin heavy and dont wanna chance of some lousy cups. so curious if anyone has used any? The 4 cup one seems pretty beefy

Thanks

Keith has some. We used them to move your tank when I was over there last.

He said his cost about $180 each (he has 4), so using something that costs $19 each may be a little sketchy....... I mean, I'm sure Keith knows what he's doing and if he could have gotten away with paying $19 each, I'm sure he would have. In fact, IIRC I asked his opinion on getting some less expensive ones and he advised against it...

i've used suctions on glass that were easily over 100lbs, and one suction will do fine for something that weight. but I don't know what brand the suction was... it was when I was working for a glass company.
