Glueing 8555 holder to PVC container ?

I would like to glue the holder for the water level sensors to the wall of a PVC container. The instruction manual talks about glueing the Tunze holder to a glass pane with silicone, but about a PVC wall ? I don't know what kind of plastic the Tunze holding devices are made of.

Can I glue the Tunze plastic holding device to a PVC wall with PVC glue (like Tangit) ?

I am not sure how well that would work, the rail is glass reinforced polyamide, tangit should work but may not be really strong because of the two different plastics. My preference would be to drill the reservoir above the water line and attach it with a plastic screw and nut and then use the glue to be absolutely secure.
