Glueing rocks

What is a good product to hold rocks together for aquascaping? I tried super glue gel but it just pulls the top layer of rock off.

Epoxy and zip ties. Zip tie the rocks together and cover with epoxy to make it look more natural.

Aquastik is what I always used. Others use a certain epoxy from Home Depot, but I was never brave enough. I can't remember the name.

I found that epoxy never really held wet heavy rocks together...I could only get it to work with small light pieces. If the rocks were dry and out of the tank until epoxy curing, thats a different story. Zip ties worked for me in places. Good luck.

For anything except small flat on flat surfaces, I use the two part epoxy putty from Home Depot called AquaMend. A small tube is $2.97. It's green on the outside, white on the middle, but mixes up mostly white. It purples up very nicely. But for holding one big rock on top of another big rock, I just place them together with no epoxy.
