hello,
i got some zoos the other day that were growing in the substrate. they are not on a base it just looks like a ball of zoos. I was wondering if i could just glue it to the rockwork in my tank. thanks for any help

thanks, i wasnt sure if any of the zoos would die that had the glue on them, then fall off of where i put them. then who knows where they would end up. :)

I was having the same trouble. I also heard rumors that gluing their flesh wasn't a good idea, but I'm sure that is debatable. I use fishing line to attach mine and so far it's worked great. You can also do it in the water causing less stress (IMO).

If the colony is a ball, then cut it in half (with a razor, goggles and rubber gloves) outside of the tank.
Then mount them onto a rock so you now have two colonies.;)
