Gluing acrylic

In the packing for my move, I broke my acrylic sump. Actually, it was my son's fault, but I won't point fingers. There is a crack in one wall and also a 4" square piece has broken off (but there are no small fragments).

Is there something I can pick up locally for gluing it? I seem to remember hearing that something from Home Depot would work, but also remember hearing that acrylic glue wasn't generally available.

Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to fix it next weekend.

you need to cut the broken piece into a shape ie square, rectangle and then you need to get some weld on 40 and patch it tieh a new piece of acrylic... you may want to post this in the DIY forum as Melev did this a couple of weeks ago for a fellow reefer loozerkids...

I called a place locally that sells weldon stuff. It is an acrylic "factory" kind of place -- I think I have the name somewhere on my computer at work. When I called them back in January they told me that they sell to the public and would welcome a visit.
