Gluing rock to glass

I have just set up a new 10g nano tank. I bought ~8 pounds of liverock from the LFS, it was cured so not much of a cycle. I have to move in two weeks and planning on hacksawing the rock to get some "towers" and other shapes to redo my aquascape when I move.

Can I use JB water weld to adhere these to the bottom of the tank? I would prefer to keep the rock wet as much as possible to stop die off. I will be cutting it wet and hopefully gluing it wet. I havent heard much about two part gel epoxies, but I am guessing that would work if its safe for a reef.

Just put the rock in a 5 gallon bucket. If you keep the rock damp it will be fine for hours. You can wet newspaper with tank water to cover the rocks for the move.

Well going for something a little different i guess. I wanted to glue the towers to the glass so they dont fall over. Tank will be bare bottom sps only. Not really concerned about resale for such a small tank. I have two big rocks right now and its hard to make a good aquascape in this size tank. Wish i could use just one of my rocks honestly but prob not enough of a bio filter then. Maybe I can cut the rocks so they dont need an adhesive but I like to plan ahead and have the stuff i need for the move/new aquascape.

Thanks for the replies
