Gobies and Blennys

Im in the midst of setting up my 45 gallon cube and have a few questions about these wonderful reef fish:

Is my tank big enough to house a few different gobies/blennys?

If so which are the least aggressive towards eachother?

Which ones are your favorites? Looks wise, personality, ect.

What types are you looking at? I personally have a Starry Blenny, Yellow Watchman Goby, and a Firefish Goby in the same tank (25 gal with 10 gal sump). Out of the three the Firefish is the least aggressive. The Watchman and Starry Blenny only get aggressive if anything comes near their spot, or if the 6-line is being stupid.

I like the Starry Blenny the most, always seems curious, goofy, and I love how it can fade all the "stars" and go almost completely brown.

I've been considering some of these for my tank too, and, some that I like are these;

Amblyeleotris aurora - Pinkbarred goby
Amblyeleotris wheeleri - Wheelers shrimp goby
Amblygobius rainfordia - Rainfords goby or Court Jester
Ecsenius stigmatura - Tail Spot blenny
Ecsenius midas - Midas blenny

These are all colorful and considered peaceful species. The Pinkbarred and the Wheelers might be possible to keep together in your size tank, but, probably best to go with just one or the other. :)

Those are all reasonable choices for your tank. I would do one shrimp goby, one "hover" goby like the Hector's, one dart fish/ fire fish, and one tailspot blenny. Not sure about compatibility between tailspot and Midas in that tank size. Good luck.
