if i get a shrimp/goby will they knock down my live rock?

Yes they could but I prevent that when i set my tanks up I put the rock work in first then the sand so my rocks are on the bottom and cant be toppled over by burrowing fish and such

I recently added a tiger pistol to try and pair him up with my yellow watchman. Took about 2 days before they found each other, and it is great to watch. Well except for the fact they both tend to stay in their burrow for the majority of the time I'm actually home to watch my tank.

I have a Cryptocentrus leptocephalus (Pink Spotted Goby) this goby should be able to pair up with a pistol shrimp correct?

that will work ......might take a day or so for them to hook up , but that gobie will work for sure

i got the shrimp from petco in mentor. he has found a burrow but the goby hasnt. should i worry?

It's a toss up with shrimp and gobies.

I have 2 Yasha Hase White Ray gobies that don't burrow with one another, or with the pistol shrimp.

It seems there are alot of fish out there in which their "standard" behaviors can be a 50/50.

still not together. should i catch the goby and re-release near the shrimp burrow or just let them be?
