gobies vs wrasse

i have an amphipod infestation in my 125 gallon, and i suspect that they're attacking my zoas, after doing some research i just need to decide whether to keep a small group of 3-4 clown gobies or a six line wrasse. i'd prefer to get the gobies since the wrasse will eventually get aggressive, the problem is that i'm not sure if the gobies will eat the amphipods or not. any opinions, experience, info?

Consider a Canary Wrasse (Halichoeres chrysus) or a Radiant Wrasse (Halichoeres iridis).

we were hoping to go with the gobies or the six-line. we have tons of astrea stars and we're getting a harlequin from an online vendor, we're hoping to get the wrasse or goby from the same vendor at the same time so we wouldn't have to pay more for shipping. the radiant is too expensive on there and the canary isn't on there.
