will a diamond goby and a Catalina get along. Tank size is in my signature. I already have the diamond goby. Looking into buying a catalina.

I think youll be fine. With a 120 theyll have plenty of space.

I've heard that the Catalina's are a cold water species and only sustain in a reef but never thrive.

Yes they will, mainly because the Catalina will be dead.

According to Conscientious guide to marine aquarist, they will only live a short while in 70 -80, and are better off in the 50 and 60's. So more or less what everyone else is saying.
