goby just sitting there

went to the LFS today and got a new adult enginere goby at first he was allover the place but for the past 4 hours or so he has just been sitting in 1 spot he is breathing fine and his pectoral fins are moving so he isnt dead he is in there with 4 green chromies and a marron clown that just hides in the rocks till he is eating my NITRATES are about 30 PPM but everything else like my amonia and nitrite are at 0 ppm ph is 8.1 any ideas would be verry appreciated

Mouse...LOL. He's just getting adjusted to his new digs. Keep an eye on him over the next few days but I'm sure he'll be ok.

when i got my goby he sat in one place kind of on his side for 2 days, untill he found a hole that he liked. Now hes very active

he has decided to make a hole he likes a great big hole under the main rock in my rock work im a bit nervous about that

Thats what is so scary about them gobies. I am trying to figure out how to keep my rockwork above the sand so diamond or YWG does not try to dig under a main one.
