I have a yellow watchman goby in a 180 gallon tank that had been sharing a cave with a pistol shrimp for about six months and never ventures far away from the cave. I look at the tank today arched the goby is just sitting on the sand bed in the front of the tank opposite of where his cave is. I saw him eat yesterday and he looks fine today. I also have a much larger diamond goby that sifts gravel all day and minds his own business. I have not seen the diamond goby yet today. Is it possible he kicked the watchman out of his cave?? Any other ideas and should I be worried there is something wrong with my little watchman?
