Never had a goby before just picked up A Randall's Goby. He is kinda sitting on the bottom motionless leaning on one side. He has been in the tank 3 hours now. He has moved because he is now on the oppisite side of the tank from when I saw him last. Unless the current pushed him. He didn't eat when I fed tonight either I put some frozeen shrimp (thawed of course) righ in front of him and he just sat there.

What do Gobys usually do and do they take a shile to warm up

I'll answer my own thread. He just floated by me upsidedown and dead as a doornail.. Poor guy was only in the tank 3 hours.

Usually they hide and you don't see them.

oppps just saw your post, bummer..............

i had a randalls that lasted only about 21 hours longer then yours. seem a bit sensistive to me. i had a high fin red banded goby that did much better. they are pretty and i think a little bit tougher. better luck next time.

i just bought an african pink bar goby that has been doing well eating voraciously. he is my favorite goby
