I just got a watchman with my 29gal BC. When i was feeding i noticed he shot out of the back little hatch door which goes into the back filtration. I saw him in the compartment far left with the return pump. Immidietly i turned it off and started looking for him. Some how he got into a little crevice that connects some glass that says minimum and maximum for the water level and the plastic. What should i do!! I dont want to lose him, and i dont want to have ammonia being shot in if he dies! Hes not very big but very beautiful. What should i do?

Had this happen with a Six Line Wrasse, just keep on eye on the pump chamber until you spot him out in it.

Slide a flat piece of plastic or something up against the Water Level window to keep him from hiding in it, pull the pump out, and either net the Goby, or use a large Syphon hose to suck him out into a bucket.

You could try putting a powerhead in the display area, attaching a hose and trying to blow him out of the window area, but it would probably stress or bang the fish up a bit, I'd just wait for him to come out on his own.
