Goby suggestions

Hi there folks,

Looking to add some different looking fish with interesting characters to complete my setup. I'm interested now in a goby/shrimp pair.
I've read through some other threads and am leaning towards a Randalls Pistol Shrip but still undecided on the goby.

I have a rimless/uncovered tank, so I'd prefer one that is less prone to parasailing.

Looking into the following shortlist but any other cool/interesting suggestion is appreciated.

- Blue Fin Watchman Goby
- Yellow Prawn
- Diamond Watchman
- Orange Stripw Prawn
- Wheeler's Shrimp Goby

As usual I rely on your opinions and expertise!

Thank you!!

Any of those would make a nice addition to your tank. Another cool one is the yasha goby or my personal favorite the dracula goby.

I have the best luck with the smaller gobys you find for nano tanks. They seem less prone to fly the coop. The ones you picked should be fine. Unless you have meanies bugging them.

Avoid Diamond Watchman Gobies. Have a rather large tank which WAS covered by egg crate to stop them from jumping out. They still did.
Shame, really like that fish.

Thank you all ! I believe I've settled for the randalls. Booth goby and shrimp. It's just that they are hard to find locally.

I have a diamond and love him. Can sit and watch him for hours. Agree with others though, they eventually get pretty large, and I don't believe they are technically shrimp gobys.
I have a yellow clown goby, which is pretty small and doesnt get very large if you are still looking for some small goby options. He's a picky eater but has been doing fine for months now.

Top shelf thanks for the spot on yasha's I've seen them before but didn't know what they were called! I love how they look

I have a hi fin goby and tiger pistol shrimp pair doing very well. Although hardly ever see them! Often hear the shrimp, makes a very loud crack. Bought as a pair from Lfs.
