goby update and question

So my yellow watchman goby has been missing I just saw him peeking out from under a rock kinda on the back side of my tank. I peeked over there and he has dug a nice nest for himself under a rock. Looks like he moved a bunch of sand out because ther are big piles of it.

I thought it was a pistol shrimp that would dig and the goby would just live in the hole. I have no pistol shrimp and my goby dug a wopper of a hole. Its actually to far in the back of my tank to get a good pic of.

No, they both dig homes.

Yep, pretty normal. I don't see mine for weeks sometimes.

Mine is living in a hollow rock at the front middle of my tank. He dug a hole under it to escape out the back. I see him digging int he sand outside the hole too.

Forgot to add... mine keeps grabbing hair algae off the back glass and putting in the hole. Not sure why yet.

This is normal, gobies can dig, just not as well as the shrimp.

Thats great news I was thinking I had to get him a shrimp but my tank is kinda full. I have 2 other shrimp and 3 fish with some hermits and snails.

Its funny the goby was peeking out until I started feeding then he hid. I would love to know he is getting food.
