i have a 90 gallon uniaquariam i had 4 1 1/2 years fish only with trigger got ride of them i was told to remove my bioballs i have done this ther ar 3 chamer in one i put a foam and fiber filter in the othe live rock and foam and the 3rd i put my phos recator want to know if this will work i have 60 pounds of live rock 21/2 of gold sand

id get a little more live rock and get rid of the foam in the filter, the only mechanical filter you need is the skimmer, also make sure you have adequate water movement in and around the reef to aid filteration, i use to only keep fish, best thing i ever did was convert to reef, good luck

I would remove the foam ect and buy a good in sump skimmer and put it in there. I would also add a refugium in one of those sections and live rock in the third
