I'm going to be in Chicago most of next week. Anyone know of any stores that I must check out between here and Chicago or in Chicago?

OMG...A Griss sighting!!!
I've asked in the CMAS forum also, they've been as helpful as a Cubs fan can be. LOL
They’ve been very helpful, I know for sure I’m going to visit Deep Reef Aquatics since it’s less than 4 miles from my hotel.
Thanks Griss.

Hi Brian,

Below is a list that I created a while ago. Barrier Reef is no longer at the location on my page. I heard that they moved to Plainfield.

I was just at Aquatica and Palos Pet Shop a couple weeks ago but if you plan on going to the others, call first.

I am a figment of your imagination. You saw nothing. Move along, move along.

If you don't make it to Rod's Reef, you are really short changing yourself. Unfortunately, he's out in the boonies in Dekalb, but maybe you could hit it either on the way into or out of town.

In the city hit ReefDwellers. In the burbs, get to Ocean's Floor and the others mentioned.

I second Rod's Reef.

When you leave Chicago, just take 88 West and then catch 39 South to Bloomington. 88 goes right past Dekalb.

Where will you be in Chicago?

I'll be in Downers Grove.

With Rod's being open until 9 on Monday and Wednesday I'm definitely going to stop by there.

Living seas is the single most overpriced shop I've seen around.
Rod's is awesome. Drop by...
Deep Reef Aquatics has a nice selection, though his prices are a bit high on a number of things.
There's also tropic-quatics in Lombard - nice fish selection.

Very familiar with Downers area. I grew up in Naperville. Getting to Rod's is very easy from Dthe Downers area. Have a good time. I am heading up there in about half an hour for the weekend.
