Golan's 90G Reef

Golan Your tank is looking nice. I have a flame angel in QT I was given as he was in poor health. He is recovering nicely and I am trying to dicide if I should add him to my 240. I am woried about it picking on my clam and brain corals. Does yours bother anything?
Steve

Steve,

If you decide against the angel, let me know. It's a lagoon fish, so it's a possible addition for me. I only have the one lobophyllia (whch I could move to the goby tank), so even a coral-nipper will probably be fine.

I'm not sure I want an angel though!

Steve, i was worried before i added him. But after doing the research and talking to a fellow experienced reefer, i decided to take the chance. It's not a sure thing - you got to try it.

So far...no nipping on anything.

It has not bothered anything in the 24 nano he is in. There are Zoos, xenia, Monti caps, RBTAs and a Clarke clown in the 24. I plan on moving the 24 soon so I have to figure out what I want to do with him. I will let you know if I decide to get rid of him. I do want to get rid of the Clarke clown, as I plan to move my black clowns to the 24 after I move the tank.

This last heat wave really made me think twice about my temp. According to my research, in nature's reef's the temp is quite stable.
I decided to invest in a chiller...i love it - temp is stable - im not running any fans (so far) and i get another point of flow since i added a rio 2500.

here are some pics
