Gold flake angel ?

flakey

I posted a similar thread in the Lps section but think I need to post her as well as bta's and Magnifica's are by far my favourite and not even a gold flake angel can take their place, but if say there's a 80% chance it'll be ok, I might just do take the risk and see how it pans out.
As well as bta's and mag's I keep torch, hammers frogspawn. I don't mind loosing the zoas.

So does anyone have any experiences with gold flakes? My head says no but y heart says yes !!

Yes I really want a gold flake angel but am worried it will eat my corals. Just wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiences.

I searched for a "reef safe" angel and read that the Cherub Angel was the most "reef safe" you could get. Well this little guy loves SPS like candy or crack. I had a mixed reef now it's not as mixed since I don't have SPS anymore. I might try an acan one of these days to see if it's still in him. He might nip on my leathers once in a while but never the LPS Euphyllia's and Duncan's are left alone. Not really interested in my leathers either. So for now I'm good.

I have a Gold Flake and it doesn't bother any of my coral, anemones, or clams. I've had pretty decent luck with Centropyge and coral/anemones, but not with clams.

Yes I have a 120g display tank. Just love the look of the gold flake.i won't be keeping clams as my flame angel ate the last one. Would like to know if more people have kept them with anemones?
That's good to know randy, thanks

I didn't but knew a guy who kept a large Goldflake in a 300gallon soft coral reef tank which contained two E. quadricolor BTA's, with no troubles.
