Gold Flake Angel

If you don't mind me asking, where are you buying it from? Just curious on who has the best quality/prices for a Gold Flake...

I've been considering the same fish. Marine Center supposedly has great quality fish, though they are a bit pricey. I won't be ordering this fish until this spring/summer. I will probably contact CRA or Sea Creatures in Revere and find out whether they can get the fish for me and will hold it for a week or two to make sure it is healthy.

I can help you to solve this problem....:rollface: ...I can take Flame Angel off your hand...:D ..if you wanna get rid off....this way you won't have to worry about having two angels in the same tank and also you will feel good by replacing a fish (does size matter???!!!!!!...) instead of adding one.....
I am sure this will add more load to my tank but for you my friend....i think i can do it.......;)

Wow, it's amazing how quickly all you reefers come to a fellow reefer's aid ! Not sure if I need to get rid of the flame...plus I love that fish and so does the wife...we'll see Shoeib, if there is any trouble between these fish I may have to get rid of the flame.

Don't worry...i was just playing...As karl suggetsted you can keep him in the frag tank and also you have a big tank so even keeping both of them in the same tank won't have much problems..
I know it's a beautiful fish and i am getting tormorrow from that revere LFS...

Probably would buy it from the marine center if I go online. As Ken2001 suggestes, for this pricey fish, it might be worth getting one shipped locally to AA, Sea Creatures (great store by the way !) or Marvin and observing it for a week or 2.

But I won't be getting one until I stop snowboarding for the season, since saturdays are the only days I can accept packages with livestock. Probably order one in April timeframe....

I was kidding too.... :D But if I had to give him away I was thinking I would give him to you . Since u are so close by, I could visit him...sorta like visiting an old friend ! Oh well, I am sure I wouldn't have a difficult time finding a home for him if I relly need to. But I am going to try keeping them both first.

......Well if wife loves that fish...then she won't mind getting another tank that you wanted.....May be it's a good excuse for another tank....he will be happy in that bowfront that you were looking for...

Sunday is Goldflake Day !

Sunday is Goldflake Day !

I did it....Marvin got me a Goldflake Angel and he will be bringing it over to my house on Sunday since he is coming over to help film: "Reef TV: Episode 1". Filming should be fun but I still gotta clean the tank...and I gotta work tomorrow.

I can't wait to get this fish. She will spend 1-2 months in my refugium, feeding on everthing and anything I can feed her. Once she is good and fat I will transfer her to the "big" tank !
Hopefully she and my flame angel will get along.

I will post pics as soon as I get the little girl !

Congratulations! Please do post some pictures when you can. For what it's worth, I have a Flame Angel in with my Majestic Angel and they get along just fine. I hope yours will be Ok too.
