Gold Rim Tang Compatibility

I am planning to buy a medium gold-rim tang for my 100G reef tanK. Currently I have, 1 L Blue Tang and 1 M Sailfin Tang. I know all about the hardness and diet problems of gold-rim, but what I am concerned about is compatibility with other tangs. What do you think ?

in a larger tank, i think it would work fine

The tank you have is way too small for either of the tangs you already have. There's no way I would add another tang to it.

i have one in a 280 with hippo and some other fish, he is a real pest. chases everthing in the tank. i plan on adding 3 yellow tangs soon. i would say a 100 gallon with hippo and sailfin is pushing it, but you should be ok!

180gal minimum for both fish so imo ur far from being ok and the last thing i would do is add anything else to the tank

imo= never had one and reading and commenting on subject.
ime= had 3 tangs in a 90 corner for 5 years no problems.

i'm an ime person you should be ok, but can never be sure with fish!

Look through the suggested tank size guidelines for the tangs you already have. You will find that 100g tanks are well below the recommended size. Adding another tang to the mix just makes things that much worse.

Yes, there are people who put large fish in tanks that are too small. That does not make it "right". "Right" meaning in the best interest of the fish.

Sure, tangs are tough fish and can stay alive about anywhere; but seeing them thrive is another. If I ever kept 3 tangs, long-term, in a 90 corner tank (with very limited swimming space); I sure wouldn't admit it, much less encourage anyone else to do something similar. BTW, am I the only one who feels that he is just banging his head against the wall?

Thank you for all comments. I do not want to risk that beautiful fish, so i gave up adding it.
