gold stripe maroon pair

Hi all, looking to end up with a maroon pair and some rbta in my new sc aquarium 50g cube, they'll be the only inhabitants.I see live Aquaria has ora strain at 3/4-11/2,would getting a group of these and waiting for a pair to form be the best way to go?, how many would I need to get to be sure of a pair?

I bought two gold bar n they paired up fine buy one bigger then the other one n it usually works out fine. Thats your best bet.
