Gold torch lps shrunk the tentacles. .... why?

I got this Gold torch few months ago. It was opening up well. .... in low to medium flow. It's low light under Chinese led.

Few weeks ago I increased the mp40 speed and its curling up like this.

Should I move it to low flow area? I have other torches that love this medium varied flow.

Pls adVice. Mp40 is in variable lagoon mode with max in middle of full range.

I have two MP40's wide open in a 120 and mine are fully expanded... I do have them placed in a lower flow area. I would check your parameters though, as well as anything that could potentially be nibbling at it or irritating it.

I would check alkalinity level and phosphates.

Like mentioned all and phosphate but I too have found that mine really doesn't like flow at all. I had to stick it in a protected area free from flow just about

the gold don´t like low alk lvls

Moved to a low flow corner ,let's see.btw my alk is bet 7-8 dkh using api. Calcium is 460.

Yes I do using randy two part recipe... and brs dosers. I can double check alk. But everything is doing fine in dt.

Another thing could be that other torch/hammer stinging it... Kinda hard to tell depth in the pic, but it's possible

Looks like parameters to me, seems to be receeding.
