Gold Torch not doing well

Have a 2.5 year old gold torch that has started doing very poorly. This started almost a week ago, and has slowly gotten worse (well, if you consider 6 days slowly). No alk swings, and everything else is doing fine (SPS, LPS, etc.).

pH 8.1
Alk 9.6 dKH
Temp 75.5-76
SG 1.025

Tried a Revive dip yesterday, but that just upset the coral more it seems. Should I move this to the frag system perhaps? Maybe a Lugols dip?

Sucks to watch your favorite coral die.

You can see the flesh recession in the pictures, as well as a picture of other LPS in the system.

Any ideas?

I would test mg, ca, & phosphates too. My torch is the first thing to get upset when the water is off.

I dip corals when they first go in the tank & never again. I don't think dipping a stressed coral does any good & just seems to upset them more.

Has anything been added or changed in the tank? When was your last water change?

I wish that were true, the tissue has receded 1/2" all the way around, and in some places more.

It's not looking good.

I placed it in the frag system to make sure it wasn't an environmental issue, but still the same slow decline.

This is my first serious coral loss, and it truly sucks to watch it slowly die.

If the part you are referring to as receding is the white part that's not recession, that's growth.

They look like they are getting too much flow. Did you move a powerhead or return line?

No, same spot as always with same pumps and flow.

The white portion was previously covered by flesh, and the flesh that was previously there has receded all the way up to the polyps now. It has receded a total of 3/4" now, and polyp extension is very low.
