I have had my two golden angelfish for a while now. They are doing very well and don't hide very much anymore and are eating everything (frozen and pellets). They don't seem to mind one another very much. Every once in a while one chases the other for a second or two but never anything vicious. I thought normally dwarf angelfish can't be kept together. I did read however the golden angelfish might be found in pairs or harems in the wild but are found so deep and generally cryptic that nobody knows for sure. I am wondering the chances I got lucky with a pair or perhaps they just tolerate one another? I know its impossible to tell visually male/female. Eventually I would like to attempt breeding them and am curious what to look for when determining if two are actually pairing off.
