I've never seen a goldish so small before.

Why would they waste their time on such a pointless task to perform, waste of money for a fish that is worth 25 cents!

I don't see that the supposed monetary value has anything to do with it.

The deliberate act of placing these helpless live creatures into these death chambers to suffer and die is just despicable.

INCREDIBLY INSANE WHO EVER DID THIS NEEDS TO BE PUT IN THE BAG AND TOSSED AROUND LIKE THE FISH FOR A WEEK AND PUT ON PUBLIC DISPLAY W/ THEMSELVES COVERED IN THERE FECES

what more do you expect from the chinese?

I would expect more from someone that posts on a forum that has members from all over the world.

Well, we sure don't expect them to follow any guidelines set for safety or quality on goods shipped here from them now do we?

no need for racial nitpicking here, my friend.

I buy fish that small for some of my other fish to eat. The only thing is that if you want the fish in that little baggy to live you have to ruin that key chain. Why not just sell the fish in a bowl that says the olympics on it. That would be better for the fish imo. I'm not sayin that I like goldfish but they do have their uses and bein in a little baggy like that isnt nice. Its like puttin a human in a small box and not lettin them out til they die. Well hell look at some of the shoes from the 70s they had goldfish in them and people walked around in them. Trust me. My mother had a pair. She finally cut off the part where the fish was took it out and put it in a bowl. then put the shoe back together.

Eh, it's a goldfish. They don't live very long to begin with.

Not to mention goldfish don't even exist in the wild anymore. If it weren't for humans the species would already be extinct.

I don't agree with the idea, I think it's a dumb novelty; but I'm not outraged by it either.

Just awful! Does the keychain open?

My uncle had a pair of those shoes in the 70's , he kept a 10 gallon of goldfish so he could replace the fish as they died, pretty much daily.
When my Mom was a kid in South Dakota they would by anoles with a ribben and safety pin around their neck at the fair. They would be pinned on a shirt or whatnot. After the kids got bored they would just let them go. Florida anoles in South Dakota, I'm sure they did really well.

Ummmm goldfish do still exist in the wild. They even survive in ponds, lakes and streams that people haphazardly dump them into. They are very closely related to the carp.
Also, they can live very long lives in captivity. The oldest reported goldfish in captivity was around 43 years old. While that is obviously not the norm, it really comes down to husbandry and genetics.....may want to research something before you post comments as matter of fact

Simran, your remarks expose you as what you are, and you probably don't even know what that is. LOL @ U!

Animal cruelty in all forms upsets me. Every country has people who are ignorant and malicious enough to do whatever for a quick buck, or just for kicks.
