Yes, they are beautiful fish indeed.
OK, here is a list of the foods that I am using at present:
Nori Algae from any Asian food market (cut into small pieces).
HBH-Crab & Lobster Bites.
Omega One Marine Flakes.
Ocean Nutrition- Formula Two.
Boyds Vita Diet.
Sprungs Sea Veggies (Red Seaweed Flakes).
Fishes Choice- Freeze Dried Plankton.
New Life Spectrum- Jumbo Fish Formula.
Royal- Freeze Dried Tubiflex Worms & Krill.
I do not use frozen foods at all. I make a mixture of the above & feed it a little at a time over about a half an hour. I don't add more food until the fish finish the small amount that I have fed. Then I add more & do the same thing until I can tell that they have had enough. It's amazing that the Goldflake will actually stop feeding when it gets it's fill.
In the near future I will be making a batch of "Eric's Famous Recipe" to try as well. I will also try to add Zoe vitamins & Garlic to that formula as well. I really believe that the more variety one feeds the better. Anyway, that's what I do.
