Goldflake angel

Hi guys,

My LFS recently got 2 Goldflake angelfish. The LFS is asking 400$ (Canadian) for the fish. Since I'm a good client, he would let one go for 375$.

The Goldflake is about 4-5 inch big.

I would be putting this fish in a 120g tank.

Any risks ?

QT very well treating for flukes and internal paraites (Prazi), and monitor to see if running Copper is necessary as well (some people do it regardless). Make sure he's accepting prepared foods and eating well prior to adding him to your display.

Same risks apply regarding coral as with most angels.

I don't know what the going price is in Canada but $350-$400 is about right in the US. I would look for one in the 2.5-3" range for that kind of money. Here's a recent thread on GF:
