It depends. Angels are hit and miss sometimes. Some will nip and some won't. I think it also depends on how well they are fed whether they will nip at corals or not.
Ive kept this closely related Flagfin Angel in a mixed reef with very limited nipping. A clam here or there but not often, though he will tear up zoas and if an acro is sliming he will slurp up the slime.
