Anyone have any experience with a goldflake angel? Might pick one up.

My GF is a great fish, he might be replaced eventually due to size constraints but he is never aggressive to any of my other fish, including 3 other angels. He doesn't frighten when I approach the tank, and if you have the opportunity to get one, you should take it.

Thanks. I will. I think I can get a small one. My bandit is doing good. Hopefully I'll have the same luck.

I hope you do have good luck, my bandit and GF get on great together, I have a little issue with my flameback showing some aggression to the GF but nothing he can't handle.

What size tank do you have?

I have a little spitfire juvenile. It will hold its ground but can be a jerk at times. With that said one of my favorite angels.

goldflakes are generally very hardy if handled properly. only issue i have ever had are flukes initially but those are easily treated with prazi.

Absolutely great fish. Below is a picture of one I used to have before I tore down the tank and temporarily got out of the hobby. Never touched anything in my reef.

I now have a juvenile for about 3 months. He eats all foods given to him and doesn't pick on any corals. Also takes no crap from any other fish.

I find these fish are beautiful and very hardy.

I love mine. He's a model citizen except with newly placed acans and brains.
Great with my regal and venustus and all my wrasses.

What does your Venustus look like? Tried googling it. Not sure if it's the same. I know a lady that has raised a batch of babies, but they are the size if a dime. Didn't see the parents.

I have one in my SPS dominated tank. Also have xenia, frogspawn and a few leather corals. He eats anything I put in the tank and hasn't ever touched a coral. Loves nori too.
